I used to be able to add a new record on the interface of my Airtable, it used to show up at the bottom and look like this (this is an example of what it looks like in the backend of the database)
but now when I look at my “Interface”/frontend it no longer gives me an “+ Add New Record” button, is this a recent Airtable change?

It seems like your screenshot is from the interface of the extension Time Tracker that allows you to add new record in that manner.
Once installed, you can access it through the extensions panel on the right, so you can have the desired button at the bottom again. (see below)
