I’ve got an existing Airtable base I’ve been using for a long time now. As a workaround to the lack of support for rich text, I implemented my own very simple markdown for [bold] and {italics}. I’d like to switch over to using rich text but there are a few limitations I’d like to cover off first and see if anyone else has found a solution.
First off, I’d like to be able to create HTML output of rich text fields - I’ve currently got one that interprets my own markdown as HTML tags, but I’m not sure if any Airtable formulas interpret the rich text markdown. Is that correct?
Beyond this I’d need a script to flow through my existing long text fields and remove the markdown while adding the required formatting. Is anyone aware of an existing script that can do something like this with rich text in the Script block (or with the API)?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
