Seems like nobody cares... The thing is when they achieve a good customer base they start ignoring the customer demands, its just like amazon......... who bloody cares? Even MS Windows went dark, but airtable doesn't care or may be they don't have coders to do it. Can't bear staring at the white screen, at-least not after when all other things are soothingly dark.
As a designer I really think y'all are underestimating how big of an ask this is for a product as dynamic as Airtable. I think we should refrain from yelling at a product team that has been very, very open and reactive to its community's needs. Airtable has been shipping dope new features so steadily. I am grateful for that. Price hike, not so much, but I digress.
I landed here because I would also love to have the dark mode option. I am a sensitive night owl.

To @Noon's note - this is something that is surprisingly a large engineering investment for us to support across our entire suite, but we are looking into options to help solve this problem.

BUT…
I recently stumbled upon this browser extension that does a good job. It generally works, but sometimes sticky top nav bars do weird things and you have to refresh the page.
Better than being stuck in this past ecosystem of day/dark mode enablement.
Kirk, you're now my dark mode spirit animal. how the heck did I get to 2024 without realizing GChrome had a dark mode extension. 💩 Too bad AirTable hasn't prioritized this in the three years since folks started asking for it, but in post-pandemic land everything takes 10x longer than it used too!
Darkmode would be perfect. Hope developers were listening... But in regards to the first post years ago, it seems not to be....
I don't expect airtable to add dark mode. I have since moved on to Grist, which not only has dark mode, but also superior in many things: open-source, free, freedom of data.

This is a must! Especially pulling late nights, Dark Mode would be tremendously helpful on my eyes, especially being that I use Airtable at least 3-4 hours every day 😅

Annoyed I am sitting here in the morning remote working, its dark outside, dark inside, and I am **bleep**in blinded because this place cant enable dark mode on the windows app after years. Looks like this slow winter months in the construction industry I am rebuilding my data into Notion and canceling my business license here.
