Hello!

We made the request to have the form answers emailed to the respondent optional; however, now I have a person who did not tick the box, who would like a copy of their responses. What is the easiest way to send that to them? I do have their email.

Thanks!

As the above solution included a link to "View on AirTable" (even though permission is locked), I decided to copy and paste the information into an email.

I believe I answered my own question:

Right click the record, click Send Record

That should send the record information, without linking back to the AirTable base, yes?

Hi there!

At miniExtensions, we’ve developed an automation that simplifies this process while allowing you to customize the email body with HTML formatting. With our Send Emails for Airtable Records automation, all you need to do is create a view containing the records to be processed and sent. For example, you can use an optional field (e.g., a checkbox where users indicate they want to receive the answers) to filter records for your specific use case.

In the Setup section of the automation settings, you can select the field containing the recipient’s email, the field for the email subject, a checkbox field to identify already sent emails, and the field for the email body, which also supports rendering an HTML formula. This feature allows extensive customization options, enabling you to incorporate data from other fields directly into the body of your email and use HTML tags to improve your presentation:

Additionally, you can schedule the process to run after a specified time or trigger it as a script within Airtable when a record enters the view. For example, if someone requests an answer, you simply mark the appropriate field in Airtable, and the automation takes care of the rest.
