Embedded shared base (password protected) not opening in Incognito and other browsers

Hi-

I’m trying to embed a password-protected Base in my website. It works when I do it in my ‘home’ browser (Chrome). But if I try to look at the page and enter the password in Chrome Incognito, on my phone, or in Safari, the password doesn’t open the Base. The password dialog box pops up, I enter the password, the password dialog box disappears… and the base isn’t open.

Am I missing something? Is it only working in my ‘home’ browser because my Airtable account has access to the base in question?
