Here is a link to a quick video...how do I import from a .csv file and route certain fields to certain tables, and maintain the links and relationships?

It seems like I have to import to each table separately, and then somehow re-link after the imports?

What is best practice for doing this?

Nah, just use the CSV Import extension https://support.airtable.com/docs/csv-import-extension

1. Import into your Properties table and map all the fields as expected, don't import any of the Principals data
2. Temporarily change the primary field of the Properties table to be the "Property Address" field (we need a unique field for this; if it's not unique we'll hit issues)
3. Import into your Principals table and map all the expected fields.  For the linked field to Properties, put in the "Property Address" field again

This should link everything together the way you want and now you can change the primary field of properties back to its original field

For the multiple emails/phones, yeah, I'd just add multiple fields I reckon, and potentiall add formula fields to summarize them

And if you'd like to completely automate this process without needing to manually use the extension every time, you can do it by using Make's CSV integrations.

I demonstrate how to do a basic version of this technique on this Airtable podcast episode
