I would like to send a single record to an external email address. In that single record there is a field where you can attach a document. However, when I send the single record to the external email, the user cannot open the attached pdf because it is in a weird format. Also, when you view it in email it is super blurry and bad quality. The only option I have is to upload that attachment from gmail to my drive and see it as a png (meaning, if the PDF has multiple pages you can only see the first one).
The goal is for the external email user to be able to download the PDF I attached to the airtable record.
Thoughts? Thanks!

Unfortunately, if you right-click on a record and choose "Send Record", that will only generate a thumbnail preview of your attachments.
To email the full PDF file (or full images) to someone, you would need to create an automation that sends an email with your attachment field added to the attachments section.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Thank you very much, Scott! I will proceed with the automation then.
