Possible to have a block that would open up a Notes/RTF field for a selected record in a table?

I feel like if I could have a block that would pull a specified field from a selected row, that would act like the “Long Text Field” popup window, I’d be able to ditch Notion. I just need a place to easily see longer text. Here’s an example. I just want to to change each time I select a new record. The popup is nice, but it’s not persistent.
