Public search of ID card

Is there a way to configure a view with all hidden fields and that only display a record who matches the searched criteria??

I have a registration form that produces an ID card and need a view in which the people can verify with their ID number if their ID card is ready but the view should only display the searched record without showing the rest of the ID cards.
