Hi everyone! I would like to know if it possible to search in all fields of a table while looking for a linked record (in another table). I tried to do that but I get result only from the first field

When linking to records from another table, Airtable only lets you search based on what’s in the primary field in the target table. To find records using info from other fields, one possibility is to turn the primary field into a formula that concatenates data from several other fields. This isn’t ideal in all situations, but it’s the only way to currently do this with Airtable’s native features.

The search box will only search the current table. It will not look into linked records.
To include fields from linked records in the current table, add lookup or rollup fields.
To search across multiple tables, you can also use the Search block.

The only way of doing this natively in Airtable is to create a formula field as your primary field of the linked table.
However, there's a much better & much easier way of doing EXACTLY what you're looking to do!
The solution is to use Fillout's advanced forms for Airtable, which lets you specify as many fields as you want that will be searchable in linked record fields.
Fillout is 100% free and offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records from a form, display Airtable lookup fields & Airtable rollup fields & Airtable attachments & formulas on forms, dynamically & conditionally filter linked record fields by any values that you would like, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, accept payments on forms, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, create new linked records on a form, display as many fields as you want to see in a linked record selection list (including attachments), and so much more.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
