Edit the card view in an embedded view?

I have embedded a view into a web page in “card” format, and I’m hoping there is a way to edit the card. It will only show 4 columns in each card - I’d love to show more. Also, my first field is “long text” - I’d love to be able to show more of that long text. Possible? Thanks!
