Airtable Word Cloud

Hi guys,

I’m wondering if there’s a block or integration that I can use to create a word cloud from one and/or multiple columns in Airtable?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary

Hey Gary,

There is no word cloud block! What you can do is export any table as CSV and import that csv into a word cloud creator.

Cheers for your quick response, @Aron. Do you know if there’s a way to integrate into Airtable? Would love it if I could make it automatic, but happy to do this manually if I need to.

A word cloud (a.k.a tag cloud) is a simple visualization of data, in which words are shown in varying sizes depending on how often they appear in your data. Example below :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @garybpt

I hope you don’t mind, I posted the above image, only, on Integromat (it automates repetitive processes) on their Facebook page.

They suggested using this app together with the HTTP app and Integromat has an Airtable app too.

Hope it helps!

Hi @Gary_Butterfield

I managed to find some other websites, maybe they can hełp?

I noticed the link from yesterday’s post did not have the word cloud app nor API, so I found these links for the apps and API.

https://www.wordclouds.com/faq/

https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/wordcloud2/vignettes/wordcloud.html

Hi @garybpt

I am glad it worked out.

Out of curiosity, what link/links did you use?

Did you check out Integromat?

Apologies @M_k, I didn’t spot this response.

I’ve used wordclouds.com to make manual clouds for the time being. I’m not clever enough ad coding to do the code integration so I’m going to do it manually for now and then ask a friend once lockdown is over to help me integrate :slightly_smiling_face:
