Auto populate form from Table B with a specific value from Table A

Hello,

  • I have table B which acts as a delivery data base showing all deliveries to have occurred.
  • I have table A with each row representing a client and a URL field within the row for a form which populates a delivery into table B (this forms is from table B).
  • When the form link is clicked from the client record in Table A we then need to choose what client the form is being submitted for through a linked record.
  • This is an issue because there is room for error.

Is it possible to repopulate the form with the client name from Table A - I cannot find a way so any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Harry_McDonald,

Welcome to Airtable community. To be honest I didn’t get what do you try to do… Could you share a video please?

Having a link to field in Table A requesting data from B, in both tables you can populate data from one another table.

Thanks

@Harry_McDonald It sounds like you are trying to prefill a form with a linked record value? Yes, this is possible. I would recommend using @kuovonne’s Prefilled Forms app, which makes this process much easier:
