Editing attachement fields on linked bases

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I have a base with different tables, each one linked to other bases. Is is possible to edit an attachment field? I am able to edit other type of fields, as for example, checkboxes, but not the attachment ones...

Hi @logtecs,

You are able to do this with Two-way syncing in Airtable.

My guess it that this attachment field is from another base? If you use two way sync, this will solve this issue. However, it's only available on Business & Enterprise plans in Airtable.

Hope this helps 🤔 🤔

Cheers

This is not possible with the Attachment field. https://support.airtable.com/docs/two-way-syncing-in-airtable this guide lists it as a limitation to two-way sync.

The two way sync thing is a real damp squib, imho. I've hardly been able to find a use for it due to the limitations. I'm still using fetch() to call the external API to get around a lot of these limitations but it's just silly.
