🌟 Event: Built with Omni: Discover What’s Possible with Custom Elements

We’re excited to invite you to our next AI User Group event on December 10, where we’ll explore one of the most powerful (and creative!) ways to extend what’s possible in Airtable: custom elements built with Omni.

In this live session, @Stephen_Suen, Product Designer at Airtable, will walk through how Omni makes it easy to design your own AI-powered building blocks—no coding required. You’ll see real examples in action, learn how they’re made, and leave inspired to try creating your own.

💡 What you’ll learn

  • What custom elements are and how they work with Airtable AI

  • How to use Omni to create powerful, tailored elements that fit your workflows

  • How to share your own creation in our Built with Omni Showcase

Whether you’re new to AI in Airtable or already experimenting with prompts and automations, this session will help you go from curious to confident.

Come learn, get inspired, and maybe even see your work featured next.

Thanks to everyone who joined this session today! If you missed it, check out the recording, and the top highlights:

3 Key Takeaways 👀

  • Custom elements empower builders to create fully bespoke user interfaces and visualizations in Airtable, going beyond standard grids and charts. You can use AI-generated elements via Omni or develop your own with the SDK.
  • Omni makes it easy to generate custom interface elements using natural language prompts. Whether you want a map, a whiteboard, or a unique chart, Omni leverages your base’s data and can iterate on your requests, allowing for rapid prototyping and customization—even if you’re not a developer.
  • Iteration can be key: you can refine your custom elements by re-prompting Omni, use version history to revert changes, and even tweak properties without code. This flexibility helps you experiment and perfect your interfaces as your needs evolve.

Next steps: Experiment and show off what you build!

In our new Built with Omni Showcase, you can browse and duplicate example custom elements, and submit your own creations to be featured. We can’t wait to celebrate your creativity by featuring members of this group (and the community broadly)!

Hope to see you at the next event, and be sure to check out the 30 minute recording here:
