Currently, our AirTable automations — configured to react to triggers in specific table fields — are experiencing severe slowness and, in some cases, complete freezing. As a temporary workaround, we have had to manually disable and re-enable the automations.
This performance issue is directly affecting users, who now have to carry out their tasks sequentially, one at a time, to prevent multiple automations from being triggered simultaneously. When two or more triggers occur at once, the system often freezes entirely.
Most of our automations are related to status changes, which trigger actions like sending emails or inserting records into other tables. Although we have set sufficient conditions to restrict the scope of these automations, performance issues persist.
Additionally, there have been instances where, after a system freeze, previously entered data was lost, forcing users to repeat the entire process manually. We would like to understand the possible causes of this behavior and how we can resolve it permanently.
