I have setup an automation with slack, which seems to be working, except from the bot icon. I have set an image URL, but it does not seem to be picking this up. Whenever something is posted by the bot, I see the airtable icon.
I saw this problem was also reported and solved for icons, however, there was no explanation as to what the solution was.
I haven’t found any answers to this either… Anyway?
@Wesley_Bascom1 I can’t seem to recall what I did back then but in the end, the image did load and still does. Maybe try using a couple of different URL’s :slightly_smiling_face:
+2Had the same issue. Ended up being an issue with the URL coming from an image preview off Google search using Chrome desktop browser.
Once I drilled down into the source webpage that hosted the actual image I was able to copy the image address (a .png) and paste that into my Bot Icon field. Ran a new test and bingo! :dart:
