Airtable’s forms only allow you to add new records to a table.

So, whenever you submit a form in Airtable, it will always create a new record  

However, if you want to update an already-existing record with a form, you would want to use Fillout’s advanced Airtable forms for that.

Fillout is 100% free, and it offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records using a form, create custom PDF files from a form submission, accept payments on forms, add a login page to your form, and much more
