I’m updating a form we use to provide training for our users and would like to create a more user-friendly design. Is there a way to customize Airtable forms so that users can choose between a “list view” and a “calendar view” when signing up? Below is a screenshot of our current forms list view.
If that is possible, as a follow-up, is there a way to add a trigger question within the form that determines which view (list or calendar) is displayed based on the user’s selection?

Hey @IxB,
It seems that by clicking Add Training they would be selecting a linked record right? -rather than a date.
If that is the case, then unfortunately you can only select from a dropdown. What is the data structure of your training sessions? I.e. what fields do you have? Is there any logic (eg. Filters) applied on those questions?
As a workaround, what if you started with a Grid / Calendar share link instead? I’ve set up a Grid view here
And after clicking ‘Sign up’ they’d be directed to the form with the Session prefilled for them:
You could update the view to have the fields you want, and the same logic would apply for a Calendar view
Also, would you like to share with us the full use case?
You might be interested in having a Calendly or Cal.com scheduling link for the training sessions and creating an integration/automation using Zapier, Make, N8N or any other automation tool (more on these automation tools here). This is pretty straight forward and you would avoid the need of having to list all possible training schedules on your base upfront. Plus, both Calendly and Cal.com offer forms to ask additional questions on the booking.
No, Airtable's native forms cannot be customized with dynamic views. To create a user-friendly interface that allows Foremost Pay Online users to switch between a list and calendar view for signing up for training, you should use **Airtable's Interface Designer**, which allows you to build a custom dashboard with both views and use buttons or a toggle to control their visibility.
