ETA: I’m sure this has been addressed a million times before, and I’d be glad to learn from that answer. The problem is that at this point I don’t know enough to know which of the previously posted answers is the right one. Thanks!

Continuing the discussion from Links and Schema:

I thought I had solved the problem, but no, and I can’t go back and edit the original post.

My goal still is to get output that looks like this, but with each ingredient in a separate column

Color name Mud 1 - 12% - Mud - 50 parts Blue, 24 parts yellow, 27 parts red

Color name Mud 2 - 6% - Mud - 50 parts Blue, 24 parts yellow, 27 parts red

Color name Mud 3 - 3% - Mud - 50 parts Blue, 24 parts yellow, 27 parts red

My table that has ‘ingredient summary’ as the primary field shows color names and depths of shade as a string of items instead of columnar data.

What am I doing wrong? Can this be solved without a pivot table?

Thanks!
