Hi Airtable Community,
I'm experiencing some challenges with RTL (Right-to-Left) text handling in my base, specifically when mixing Hebrew/Arabic with English content. I'd love to get some insights from the community on best practices and possible solutions.
Current Issues:
- Text alignment becomes inconsistent when mixing RTL languages (Hebrew/Arabic) with English
- The reading flow is disrupted, making it uncomfortable to read and work with the data
- This affects both table views and interface elements
Questions:
- Is there a way to set a default RTL alignment for specific fields or tables?
- Are there any known workarounds for handling mixed RTL/LTR content effectively?
- Does Airtable support RTL for automated emails and notifications?
Use Case: I'm managing a project where we frequently need to input both Hebrew and English content. Currently, the mixed text appears jumbled and unclear, which impacts our team's efficiency and data readability.
I've already tried:
- Using different field types
- Adjusting field width
- Testing various text formatting options
Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone successfully implemented a workflow that handles RTL content smoothly?
