Hi guys,

I have released a new block - “API Connection”. It can connect to any API to fetch the data and save it to your Airtable.

I have released it as open source on github - https://github.com/saas-developer/airtable-api-connection .

It should help bridge the gap between technical/non technical folks in your team.

Do let me know if you find any bugs !!

Thanks !!

This is awesome! Will give it a go!

How do we install this block?

I know of the following ways to install.

  1. Download source code from github and follow steps for creating a new block

  2. Using --remote from Airtable Blocks SDK .

I can see that both of them are not ideal for this scenario.

@Kasra Any better solution for this scenario?

When you go to Build a custom block in the blocks gallery, there is an option to Remix from GitHub:

I don’t see the option for Building a Block in the Blocks Gallery. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? thanks in advance.

@Janie_Greenwood - did you sign up for the beta? If you haven’t done so yet, please go here and click on “Sign up for the beta” link: Airtable Blocks SDK

Looks great! Nice job! :grinning_face_with_big_eyes: 🙌
