Hey all! Wendy and I had the pleasure of presenting to the EDUCAUSE Small College consortium last week; discussing the need for No-Code strategies in the higher ed sector.

I thought folks across this group would be interesting in checking out the conversation! A copy of the slides can be found here as well

If you have other groups that you think would be interested in this type of discussion, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re eager to find creative ways to continue to engage with education communities.

One group I think would benefit tremendously from Airtable is more general Non-Profits beyond strictly Higher Ed. I came to AT through implementing it at a Museum and now use it daily to operate a resource directory for a Community Action Agency. There are a ton of functional uses like at the Museum, I used AT for guided tour sign-up and tracking, field trip booking and coordination, attendance data analyzation, summer camp registrations… I wasn’t high up enough to force the issue, but the standard Airtable uses like CRM and Collections Database are also slam dunks.

TBH with a good template, Airtable could disrupt the Collections Database software market, which is dominated by PastPerfect (/shudder) or extremely expensive alternatives.
