Easily filtering records like an e-commerce store

Hi,

I’m looking to use the interface designer or any other airtable solution to filter records with shared users in an easy way. Similar filtering to an e-commerce store like Best Buy. So someone could choose pull-downs from linked records to say they want a 1. “laptop”, 2. “white color” and the page would show all records that meet those criteria.

I know this can all be done within an airtable base but I’m looking to simplify it for less tech-savvy users.

Thanks,

Jordan

You might be able to do that with Softr.io, but I’m not 100% sure. Check it out and let us know!

Hm, may I know what issues you faced while attempting to use the Interface’s Filter element connected to a Grid element? Once I know more about what issues you faced we could try solving those together

Hi there, I just wanted to mention that our miniExtensions form offers this functionality out of the box! You can pick dynamic filtering fields so users can narrow down the selection of linked records as needed, so they will then only see records matching the criteria. Let me know if you have any questions about this and I'd be happy to answer them for you!
