Hi there, I have a question about option selection, the parent record is “Joan” and linked record buddy “KK”, I want to filter out all linked record under “Joan” instead of selecting “All buddies”.

The filter has no choice of “Client” is [Current Client], is there any way to solve it?

Try using a conditional filter on your linked field?  It’s a paid feature though

@Simply Flow

You can successfully do that by using Airtable’s dynamic filtering feature and matching the same linked record fields between your 2 tables. This is called “conditional filtering” or “dynamic filtering”.

However, you can’t setup that feature just for that one interface page. Airtable requires you to set this filtering feature at the FIELD LEVEL (i.e. for your entire base), instead of just setting it at the INTERFACE PAGE LEVEL (i.e. just for your specific form).

So you would need to go back into the Data layer and make changes to the “Pet Name” field there. After you do this, your changes will affect ALL of Airtable, not just that one interface page.

If you need to setup this filtering feature just for one interface page, you can accomplish that by using Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable.

Fillout is 100% free, and it lets you update existing Airtable records with a form.

With Fillout, you can leave all your fields alone in Airtable, and just setup one form that has Fillout’s dynamic filtering feature set on it.

Hope this helps!
