All of the sudden, my users can now create records in linked fields in Interfaces. I have no way to toggle this off. This is a HUGE problem for the reliability of our business workflow and for keeping safety rails up. This needs to be fixed ASAP! Anyone else notice this?

+5+4I almost guarantee you that you are overlooking the toggle-off option. I have had a hard time finding them, but everthing on Interfaces, especially dealing with Linked Records, can be toggled on and off. The option is just not always in an easy-to-find or consistent location.
Can you provide more specifics of what you are doing (Grid View, etc) or provide screenshots?

There is not an option to toggle off anywhere, and there was no an option to add records until this newest update.
I'm viewing the record in Interface > Grid Views. When I open the record in Grid View as a side sheet, any linked record has a "create a new record" button in the top right.
I have desperately tried to find a way to turn it off. No such option.
