Hello moderators! Any update here? Adding mine to the echos begging for this feature!
Please add colors to linked records!

I’d also love to add my +1 to this request! Any updates on if/when it could happen?

Thank you!

A +1 from me too. This would be helpful for a base I’m using to keep track of IT equipment reservations.

+1 to this. The option to carry color over to linked records would really help reinforce the ‘linked’ aspect…

+1 here too - for example I have a “Project” table and a “Tasks” table linked to the projects and grouped by the projects, as well as a “Supertasks” table linked to the projects to also group the Tasks - with Linked Records however the lack of pill coloration makes the view very hard to digest (lots of text)

+1 for this as well. The projects to tasks use case is big. I’m trying to create visibility for the work my team is doing by just embedding our projects table in Confluence. However, having the tasks all appear as gray boxes (ideally, they’d be color coded by their status field) makes it difficult to understand what’s going on with each project at a glance. Desperately trying to avoid having to create individual pages for each project in confluence with manual tables for tasks.

+1 I am also looking for this functionality! Visualizing content is a big criteria for a lot of industries and being able to discern content based on color, especially in linked/mirrored tables would make things a lot easier and increase accesibility.

No, this is not a supported feature at this time. We’ve heard this request a few times and are considering ways to support it in the future.

Was just looking for this feature!

In the meantime any changes?
Would be a great tool!

Same! Any movement since the first ask back in 2017???

Throwing in my vote for this feature! Using the Project Management template, it would be very handy to have a quick visual distinction between the linked Clients.

My use case would be for content calendars. For each of my clients, there’s a set list of content topics we pull from across different tables. Right now these all exist as separate Single Select fields, but sometimes we make changes and add a new topic. Doing this in one table doesn’t obviously update any of the same Topic (Single Select) fields in any of the others, because they’re not linked - and we’re not using linked because we NEED the color coding. It’s essential to how we use the base and an important part of why we use Airtable instead of a really advanced Google Sheet. Color coding = we see at a glance when a particular topic is underrepresented by what we’ve created.

Hi Matt, anything new on this front? Cheers

For me, it would be useful to add some colour-coding, especially as we use multiple linked fields and the table ends up looking rather dull!

+1 from me as well, this would be an extremely useful feature for project management when there is a lot of data to digest.

Please let there be movement on this :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Matt and @Airtable , it would be great if an update can be given, since the last update was on May 2017, which is almost 4 years now.

Our custom software firm has started using Airtable for most external clients as well as internal projects. We would greatly appreciate a feature like this to help our context switching.

Any update on this feature ?

I’ve done this myself by using a chrome extension to selectively change background/text color style attributes. (desktop only)
