Being able to hide/show fields in the form view based on the values of fields higher up in the form could be extremely valuable.
For instance, if using Airtable to keep track of leads, one might have a Single Select field with the following options:
Relationship
- No Relationship
- Met at a conference
- Contacted through website
If “Met at a conference” is selected, it would be valuable to collect information about that conference in a conference field, but it wouldn’t make sense to capture that info for any of the other options in the relationship field.
Im considering subscribing - this just seems like a logical feature. ETA?
Love Airtable and would love to have this feature! Right now I have a list that contains a check field purchase or not purchased. In the grid view I filter to show only those items not purchased. I then create the form. Unfortunately the filter doesn’t stick it shows all items purchased and not purchased.
Thanks for your consideration!
Lisa
Definitely could use this. Right now we must use JotForm for a good portion of our workflow, even though our conditionals aren’t complex.
Plus 1 from me on this too…
We use the form to submit new bookings (we’re a villa rental business) and would use conditional logic to determine if the booking is direct, or via an agency. The person submitting the form would choose either option which would then determine which options follow next…
Would really help to further streamline our Airtable setup!

2 years on and the requirement for conditional logic on a form is still required. There is so much that is good about Airtable but for me, this would make it so much better.
Waiting for this feature in order to switch on Airtable (still using Memento Database).
Conditional logic forms is a MUST HAVE option.
I really need this capability. Also, with it, the ability to have form fields link to the forms in multiple tables within the same base! So necessary! Thanks! :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:
+1 on form logic. Seems like a pretty basic feature for any type of form.
Need it bad! Everything else around Airtable is so good ! But for our main purpose of forms, we need logic
Adding support for this feature. We’re about to implement Google Forms instead of Airtable Forms for our use case because we need the conditional logic. Thank goodness for Zapier; but it sure would be nice if we didn’t need it.
I would LOVE to see this functionality built into Airtable. I’d also like to see the more flexibility to the page layout of the form view. Could developers add a basic text label that doesn’t require input? It would be nice to see spacers and the ability to adjust the look of the form. Using the entire page having more of a column distribution would be ideal.
I would love to see this feature too.
Highly requested feature. This is the only reason our organization has to keep using Google Forms. Thank you!
A much needed feature for any forms
We’ve been reviewing AIRTABLE for the last couple of days in a bid to adopt. Conditional logic seemed an obvious requirement for a form. It is concerning that this has been a request for some time now (+2 years), and not even a response form the developers.
Is this functionality expected any time soon? It seems it is a MUST HAVE to manage the engagement of ones data efficiently.

any workaround for this?
any workaround for this?
Hi Steven_Bönau, we need this! you are just the guy - pls help us
+1 for this feature as well.
This would be great to have! We pay for wufoo and would love to get rid of it and keep all our forms in airtable since all our info is in airtable anyway!
This is a must have! Giving my +1
Also have a need for this here - in the meantime I’m going to build a zapier integration to push the values into a new tab that is limited to what I need in the selection. My use case is pretty basic or else this option would not work.
Scratch that as an option - modifications/deletes too much of a hassle. This feature is really needed. The idea of being able to build a lookup where the values are based on a view seems like the most straight forward way to do this. Happy to chat through this with anyone if there is interest.
Would also LOVE this feature. Please add it!
+100! My current workflow involves heavy use of Google Forms to gather suggestions from customers, rate them and apply formulas to them in Google Drive spreadsheets, transfer approved suggestions into the database my software uses, and upload customer data to Constant Contact. Obviously I would love to do all these things (and also manage software milestones, to-do lists, etc.) within Airtable, but form logic is essential to my forms. Without it I’d have to replace one Google form with six separate Airtable forms. That would cause a lot of customer confusion in addition to involving a lot of duplicated work for me. Please add this feature!
Yes please on all this! Additional design and logic in forms please!!!
+1 (multiply by a gazillion)
KEY, KEY FEATURE THIS!!!
