Hey everyone,

I’m curious to hear if anyone of you who work with content within media entertainment have integrated contract info as well?

We are currently looking into it, but don’t want it to replace our contract management tool at all. I’ve heard about similar companies using AI to summarize the commercial terms in Airtable, so information like IP rights is easy to look up. I also think having an overview of upcoming contract renewals would be super helpful. But curious to hear how you are working with this in your company, and how you’ve structured the base for this.

Hey @sandra_k_o,

I do not work in media entretainment, but I’ve set up very similar systems to what you are describirng! This is something Airtable is 100% capable of doing. Only downside, analyzing attachments with Airtable’s AI (i) takes pretty long, and (ii) uses a lot of AI credits.

Depending on how many contracts you need to analyze on a monthly basis you might be better off integrating OpenAI to get the job done, but to be honest basic MVP using Airtable alone will be good enough!!

I’d be happy to show you around. Feel free to grab a slot using this link.

Hi @sandra_k_o,

This is absolutely 100% doable in Airtable.

However, as @Mike_AutomaticN mentioned above, it would likely be quicker & cheaper & more powerful to build this yourself using Make’s AI integrations along with Make’s Airtable integrations.

Not only does Make natively support Airtable and ChatGPT and dozens of other AI services, but they even have tons of their own native Make AI modules, including their own content extractor modules which uses AI to pull structured data out of your documents for you (amongst many other features).

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you can instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable

Hope this helps!
