Hey @oliwia823,

I work with clients with similar/same use cases.

Small tweaks might apply depending on your specific needs. However, you’ll want to look into the following:

Tables:
Products (e.g. Carrots)
Transaction Orders (Type: Purchases or Sales)
Transaction Lines  ( Product: Carrot, Qty: 10, Linked Order Type: Purchase)

Following with the above example, you could have a Rollup field to show total sum of Purchased qty at a Product level. You could also rollup total Sold qty at a Product level. With an easy formula you could now have total Inventory.

More robust solution would be to also have the following.

Tables:
Recepies
Recepies Line Items

Recepies table would be great to bundle up template ingredients and qtys (Recepies line intems( which you will want to discount from inventory each time a given specific plate is sold.

This might sound confusing, but it will hopefully make sense or work as guidance.
I’d love to show you around with further detail! Please feel free to schedule a call using this link.

Looking forward to it.
