🪺  More Nested Records in List View

Article content

You can now create richer, deeper hierarchies in list views—up to seven nested record levels for a total of 10 hierarchical levels. This unlocks greater flexibility for project planning, task management, and other complex workflows, especially when paired with backlinks.

Instead of juggling multiple tables for milestones, tasks, and subtasks—or flattening everything into a single view—you can now build multi-level lists that keep date dependencies intact and mirror (+enhance) the structure of traditional PM tools all within Airtable.

🚀  Product Launch Recap

Catch up on the latest features that launched this month—built to save you time, streamline workflows, and unlock new use cases.

✅ ProductCentral Interface Background Color

You can now set your base color as the interface background color in ProductCentral, creating a more cohesive and branded look. This visual enhancement makes interfaces feel more immersive and aligned with your team’s identity.

Use cases:

  • Match interface visuals to company or product branding for internal consistency
  • Differentiate multiple ProductCentral interfaces at a glance by base color
  • Create themed backgrounds for specific projects, launches, or departments

✅ Home App Tiles

Interface and base tiles for the same app are now merged into a single tile on the Home screen. Clicking on an app tile takes you to your most recent location—whether that’s the app’s interfaces or data. Hover over the tile to see a quick link to the app's data if you have access. You can also use the ••• menu to navigate to a specific interface.

Use cases:

  • Streamline navigation between app data and interfaces without hunting for separate tiles
  • Quickly resume work where you left off in a specific app
  • Give new users a more intuitive way to explore an app’s data and interfaces from one starting point

✅ Proofing

Proofing brings the entire creative review and approval process into Airtable (no more juggling tools or losing track of feedback).

Your attachment fields can now operate as powerful versioning systems. Track multiple file iterations with automatic version numbering, simplifying the evolution of creative assets from concept to approval. Compare different file versions simultaneously to easily spot changes and improvements with a simple side-by-side view.

You can now also add precise feedback directly on files with comprehensive annotation tools including note annotations, rectangle highlights, freehand markups, and text highlighting for PDFs. For PDFs, Proofing automatically identifies and highlights text differences between versions, simplifying revision spotting and ensuring thorough review. External stakeholders can participate in reviews without full Airtable access; comment-only users can view files and add annotations, making client and vendor collaboration seamless.

Use cases:

  • Track creative asset versions from concept to final approval
  • Compare design iterations or document updates side-by-side to spot changes quickly
  • Collect PDF annotations from clients or vendors without giving them full workspace access

🧑🎓 #AirtableAcademy in the wild…

Spotlighting recently certified Airtable users, learnings, and celebrations from those using the #AirtableAcademy hashtag.

via Aimen Bouzid:

Just became an Airtable Certified Builder ✅ My biggest takeaway: You don't need a deep data analysis background to build powerful systems for your team. While my data background helped, it's a plus, not a requirement. The learning curve is incredibly gentle, and Airtable's AI (Omni) makes it one of the most intuitive platforms for non-technical builders. This is a massive unlock for anyone in GTM, RevOps, Marketing, or Product in Enterprise.
