Adding a hyper link to external website in a form

Yes, highlight the text and then click on the link icon to add your hyperlink.

Hi Scott, Thank you for your replay, I have tried your suggestion, however for some reason i am unable to highlight the text, (field type is single select) to edit the text i need to click on the edit field button, in in that screen the URl is hyperlinked, but this is not reflected in the form

interestingly the field underneath it, i can highlight the text as you suggest

any ideas why this could be?

Hmm, in your first screenshot you’re modifying the ‘Description’ of the field, while in the second screenshot you’re modifying the helper text of the form itself.  They each have different functionality, and for your purposes you’d just need to modify the helper text on the form I believe!

Thank you, that is helpful! I figured out what was causing the difficulty….  so for the first example I had filled in a description in the field settings, when I trigger the help text to on, the text in the description field is what appears and I was unable to highlight this text.  if I remove the text from the description field and toggle the help text to “on” I was able to enter the text directly in the help text section on the form, and in this way I was able to highlight and hyperlink the text.  thank you
