I’d love to see an integration or extension for Airtable that enables automated image generation using data from records. Many teams—especially in marketing, eCommerce, and sales—often need to create social media posts, banners, product visuals, or branded creatives. Doing this manually is time-consuming, especially when the content changes frequently. Use Case Examples: Marketing Teams – Automatically generate social media graphics or ad creatives based on campaign details in Airtable. E-commerce Businesses – Create product banners that update dynamically with new prices, SKUs, or images from Airtable records. Sales Teams – Generate personalized outreach banners using client-specific fields (like name, company, or offer). HR & Internal Comms – Design recruitment creatives, event posters, or announcement banners based on internal data. Since Airtable allows its forms and gallery views to be easily accessible on mobile phones, it’s a lot easier to give the kids credit for chores done. Inspect the work, whip out your phone and fill out the ‘Chores Completed Form.’ Likewise, if they spend money (or if you have older teens with their own checking accounts), you can easily record when they purchase something via “Bank of Mom” or if you transfer the money. The kids can view their individual balances via a custom ‘gallery’ view. Can add kids, change the chores list and payouts, etc. to fit your family. A lot easier than a spreadsheet.

Hey! Some weeks ago I built a super simple, yet very very powerful automation, for helping a friend parse invoices, and thought it would be helpful for others to post a basic guide (and open the discussion for improvements) here. Proof of Concept: By uploading an Invoice to Airtable. An automation would use AI to extract, Invoice Line Item Descriptions, Quantity and Totals. Then the automation would create the corresponding records with precise information. Therefore my friend can now get all insights from the invoices his company receives (how much they’re spending, what they’re spending on, and a clear picture of overall finances). Needs: Airtable paid plan for scripting and AI features. Areas of improvement: Prompt for AI, as well as Json output would need some iterations to allow handling multiple different invoice formats. This blog post by Airtable recommends using Airtable as a DAM (digital asset management) tool. My company uses Airtable as a DAM, and when I was a consultant, I worked on projects involving using Airtable as a DAM. Airtable's blog article leaves out a few concepts that you should consider if you want to use Airtable as a DAM. - Most DAMs also provide CDN (content delivery network) services. Airtable has stated that it is not designed to be a CDN. The loss of permanent attachment URLs matches the idea of Airtable not being a CDN. If you want to use Airtable as a DAM, make sure that you don't also need it to be a CDN. - Most of the systems that I have built for using Airtable as a DAM involved at least one third-party service, and some use multiple third-party services. I have somewhat of a workaround. The desktop app is essentially a web app. You'll be creating your own web app(s) using Safari 17 or higher. This method will require a Mac running Sonoma or Sequoia. Log into Airtable on Safari and navigate to the desired base or interface page that you want your web app to open to. Here's something I created using automations with a script to allow me to get quick totals on any table view for specific values. I have 2 cases listed below and have found it to be a great way of collecting totals without having to create other linked records, rollups etc. Of course I have to hit the recalculate checkbox to get my total for each row, so it's not live, but I can live with that. Also, you have to make sure your references are correctly spelled (Source Table, Source View, etc). I hope others find it useful. I recently had a video call with the Airtable team, but my main concern wasn’t fully addressed, and I need to make a decision ASAP since I’m actively selling a product. My situation: I’m creating and selling Airtable templates that my clients should be able to fully edit—entering data, modifying records, updating menus, etc. Essentially, they need to use the template independently within their own workspace. Hello! Powersave - a chrome extension that allows to save to Airtable right from the browser, should now display a rich text editor for all text fields which have rich text formatting enabled. You can use markdown shortcuts in the editor and all Airtable markdown subset features are supported - bold text, italics, links, lists, headers, even checklists. Powersave can also update records as you browse so this can effectively be used for content management... I'm using it to manage content for my website as I click around now. I'm building a database for students in college. So the main table has Student ID, Name, Course 1, Course 2, Course 3, and so on, up to the highest number of courses a student is taking. I then want to create individual tables for each row in the main table in which I could report on student's progress in their respective courses each semester. Eventually, I want a reporting table with progress updates from all students that I can sort using semesters to report on students' progress in different semesters. I thought this should be the easiest thing to do but I have not been able to accomplish it. Can anyone point me to a guide or explain the main steps to do so. What are the limitations to this approach and is there a better way to do so?

I'm trying to use the trigger function in Airtable to determine the webhooks module in Make.com, but it's not working. I'm using the paid versions of both Airtable and Make.com. Interestingly, the same functionality works perfectly on another page in Airtable. I have no idea what the issue could be. What should I check to resolve this problem? Please help me.

The automation currently we are using only works on new records. Is there any way to push the automation to run on existing records in the same table? Right now, when form received, it will create new record. Goal is when form received, it will auto fill out the existing records in the table. Appreciate your help. Thank you!
