Did you know Airtable custom interfaces could generate SOUND 🎸🎸🎸?
For sure, I didn’t. In fact, when thinking about what to build for the AT Community-Led Hackathon, I tried to find something that would really take Airtable to its limits.
Something that shouldn’t be possible (and I could always go back to basics for my final submission). And… that’s how I came up with this version of Howie’s Rock Show. Think Guitar Hero, but running in Airtable.
First Omni prompt:
Create three buttons, assign different sounds to each. They should reproduce their sound when clicked.
That actually worked (in one shot)!!!!
So… I went all in. Great db architecture makes this so much fun: I created a Songs table, a Song Notes table (my Airtable version of the score/sheet music), and a Plays table.
The Songs table includes fields such as BPM.
The Song Notes table includes fields such as Note Duration.
Then I just spun up this version (which is definitely not the final one!).
How is your build coming along? If you did not start yet, you still have time! Make sure to submit before March 17, 23:59 EST using this link!
