I am reaching out here in desperation because the “contact support” feature in Airtable does not work at all in my workspace, across multiple browsers and devices.

Firstly, my “Team” plan workspace has a base, and my base has a form. It is the only form present in the base.

After the recent UI update, that form is not visible in the “Forms” tab on the top middle. The system pretends that my base doesn’t have any forms.

However, I can still access the form via my bookmarked public link. Additionally, I can submit the form and it successfully will add a record to my base.

I need to edit this form, but it is currently not possible to access the edit page of the form.

Normally, I would reach out to Support about this. However, when I click the “?” icon on the bottom left and then select “Message Support”, it opens up a blank white rectangle on the bottom right of the screen that does nothing.

I know from experience that this should be a chatbot interface. But instead, it is a blank white box that does nothing. See the image here for an example:

The “Message Support” button gives a broken white rectangle, does not work

I have tried using different bases, different devices (Windows), different wifi networks, and different browsers (Brave and Chrome).

I have tried toggling browser settings related to cookies, scripts, privacy and security, etc.

Nothing has worked to improve this situation.

I have been an ardent Airtable user since 2020 and have never before encountered such a glaring failure.

This experience has been very disappointing. I expect higher reliability standards from Airtable.

Please respond to me here or DM me with a way to get in contact with Airtable Support.

Thank you.

Hey @hlaernge!

Your best option is to reach out via email to support@airtable.com. They are usually pretty helpful.
You might also want to include a hyperlink to this post on your email, for further reference!

Hmm, as a workaround while waiting for a reply perhaps you could try accessing the URL directly?  Your form URL should look something like this:
https://airtable.com/appxpdFQHUngNb6dr/pagdtaqRhuGs6w3z9/form

And to get to the editing page for the form, you’d change the ‘form’ at the end to ‘edit’, so:

https://airtable.com/appxpdFQHUngNb6dr/pagdtaqRhuGs6w3z9/edit

Thanks all for your support.

The first response I got back from support@airtable.com was more unhelpful AI chatbot slop, pretty annoying.

But I’m glad to say that a real human responded to me after my subsequent response requesting a real human, and they’re being very apologetic and polite and helpful.

Still have not resolved the issue, but we’re looking into it.

@TheTimeSavingCo I tried this, but did not get far. The only link I have bookmarked to the form is in this format:

airtable.com/appa...]/shrc...]

I tried adding “/form” and “/edit” to the end but it produces invalid links.

Thanks again for your help 🙏

Resolved it with the help of support -

My form was a legacy “Form View”
(rather than a more up-to-date item in the “Forms” tab a the top of the screen)

Oh yes, first answer is always AI generated, if you follow up you’ll get a human response. FYI for any future reader!

Glad you got this solved!
