Hi

Can I get some advice on a simple Swimlane Application or tool for a beginner, I have been using sheets of paper up to now, but need something to help with a workflow that is a little bit more complicated with more stake holders.

I have created a list of tasks in a google sheet, assigned stake holders, and grouped tasks for an Aircraft Maintenance Inspection input to a Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO), Pre Maintenance Input tasks, Arrival tasks, During Maintenance Tasks, Departure Tasks and Post Maintenance Tasks, I now need something to sort them out into swim lanes.

Could you provide an example of a swimlane you’ve currently already got set up and the data that populates it?  Would love to help and knowing what you want the output to be would be really helpful!

Hey @Adrian,

Even if further context is probably needed, you seem to be describing a basic project management system. I’d suggest you take a look at this video, where I go through the basic database architecture. For sure some tweaks will be needed to match your specific needs.

re: Swimlane visuals I would probably suggest to achieve this via interfaces with Kanban or Timeline Pages and filtres.

Feel free to schedule a call and we can go through it together.
