Synced table (from JIRA/or salesforce) that allows to add records

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

Hi all!

Is it possible to create a sync-ed table (from JIRA or Salesforce for example) that will import data but also allow to create records?

So it's a mix of sinced records + manual?

thanks!

No, that isn’t possible with Airtable’s sync tools.

Instead, you would need to create your own custom syncing process use Make’s JIRA integrations & automations, and Make’s Salesforce integrations & automations.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread.

For example, here is how you would instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

I also give live demonstrations of how to use Make in many of my Airtable podcast appearances here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqssva4liHRwHhQIpTXekG8WObEoyC2F1

p.s. If your company has a budget for your project and you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with any of this, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consulting — ScottWorld

@francescacoo You can definitely set up a 2-way integration that creates new records and tasks automatically. Here's a guide on how to sync Airtable bases to Jira projects with Unito. It comes with a free trial, so you can see if you like it!

You can read more about Unito here.

It also supports Salesforce and 50+ other apps and tools.

Hi Francesca!

Not sure if you already found a solution here, but you can use Whalesync to 2-way sync Salesforce and Airtable.

It lets you import Salesforce data into Airtable and then create/update/delete records and sync that back to Salesforce automatically.
