Hi all! I’m ​@calen181, VP of Marketing at Airtable. 

The Airtable Community has always been full of builders who love showing how things actually work. Real workflows. Real problems. Real “oh wow, this actually helped” moments.

We want to lean into that – and share those stories more broadly.

We’re launching our first ever Community Creator Challenge, a social media video contest to source short, creator-made ads for use across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other paid social channels. We want to see our amazing community shine and show how you use Airtable to solve a real problem or run a real workflow.

If your video is selected and used in one of our paid campaigns, you’ll earn a $200 cash prize. Then, at the end of the campaign period, the single best-performing video, measured by click-through rate (CTR) and conversion rate to a new product signups during the campaign period, will take home the $10,000 grand prize

🎥 What we’re looking for

Short, vertical videos that:

  • Show a real workflow, project, or problem you solve with Airtable
  • Highlight Airtable’s UI, including AI (Omni and/or Field Agents)
  • Feel authentic, clear, and creator-led (and not overly polished or “corporate”)
  • Personal or professional use cases. Whatever inspires YOU!

Think: something you’d genuinely post on your own feed.

📋 Video requirements (important! please read)

To be eligible, videos must:

  • Be 9:16 vertical (.mp4 or .mov)
  • Be :30 seconds max
  • Clearly show Airtable UI
  • Include captions (native captions are great!)
  • Feature a real workflow or use-case (dummy data only – and Omni is great at helping with this)
  • Avoid unsubstantiated claims (for example: guaranteed time savings)
  • Contain no copyrighted music, audio, or clips
  • Contain no confidential, sensitive, or personal data
  • Include consent from anyone visible on camera
  • Avoid profanity, offensive content, or competitor trademarks

By submitting, you agree that Airtable may edit, adapt, and use your video across paid and organic channels. We may also boost content posted on your own social channels.
 



💸 Prizes


Accepted entries

Videos that meet the requirements and are selected for use by the Airtable marketing team will receive a Visa gift card in the amount of $200 USD, sent by January 31, 2026


Grand Prize

All accepted entries will be automatically entered to win the $10,000 USD Grand Prize.

  • The winner will be selected based on highest click-through rate and conversion rate to a new product signups during the campaign period
    • Performance will be measured after three weeks live in-market
    • Final winner announcement timing will be shared once all submissions are reviewed

Note: All prizes are subject to applicable local taxes.

⭐  Tips to give your video the best shot


Format & setup

  • Vertical: 1080 × 1920 px
  • Keep faces, UI, and text centered and easy to read
  • Use natural light and steady framing (a tripod helps)

Audio

  • Clear, front-facing audio
  • No background noise or copyrighted music

Content & structure

A simple flow that works well:

  1. Relatable problem (2–3 sec)
  2. Moment of discovery (2 sec)
  3. How Airtable helps (6–10 sec)
  4. Light CTA (“Try it,” “See how it works,” etc.)

(showing your face helps, but it’s not required)

Showing the product

  • Over-the-shoulder laptop shots
  • Screen recordings
  • Picture-in-picture edits
  • Green screen product shots

Keep the UI crisp, legible, and free of sensitive data.

Style

  • Skip slow intros -- jump right in
  • Minimal filters
  • Quick cuts and tight pacing
  • Avoid competitor mentions or ROI claims

Record on your phone. Tools like CapCut or Descript work great, but use whatever you’re comfortable with.
 



📦  Delivery specs (if selected)

  • Export at 1080 × 1920 px, H.264 preferred
  • Provide:
    • Final video
    • Optional textless version
    • Optional SRT captions (nice for accessibility)
