Hey, I want to set up an automation, that will be triggered when the form is submitted and it will send the filled-out information to make.com so I can then use the submitted data in make.com. I couldn't find make.com in the supported apps that are available when setting up automation in Airtable. I also couldn't find the option to create a custom webhook. I saw that some people did it in the community, but I couldn't find how.

So, Is there a way to create automation that sends submitted information from airtable to make.com triggered when the form is submitted?

Sure, there are many different ways of doing this:

1. No Airtable automation necessary: You can use Make's native Airtable module for "Watch Responses" which will automatically trigger when a new form is submitted.

2. Using an Airtable automation: You can create an automation to send a record from Airtable to Make by sending the Record ID of the record to Make, and then you would have Make grab all the record information from Airtable. If you've never used Make before, I've typed up full instructions on how to do this in this thread: Instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable. Additionally, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread.

3. Use Fillout's advanced forms for Airtable, which integrates natively with Make. Fillout is 100% free and offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records from a form, display Airtable lookup fields & Airtable rollup fields & Airtable attachments & formulas on forms, dynamically & conditionally filter linked record fields by any values that you would like, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, accept payments on forms, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, create new linked records on a form, display as many fields as you want to see in a linked record selection list (including attachments), connect a single form to dozens of external apps simultaneously, limit the number of linked records that can be chosen, set advanced field validations & limitations, upload an unlimited amount of attachments simultaneously, add CAPTCHAs to your form, add choice matrixes to your forms, direct integration with hundreds of apps like Calendly & Google Maps on your forms, and so much more.

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Hey there, Hannes from miniExtensions here.

I just wanted to add that the miniExtensions form has some really powerful features regarding webhooks! You can trigger webhooks with each form submission, or only in certain cases, based on the data in the record. You can also base the webhook off of an Airtable field, so you can simply use a formula field to generate the correct webhook URL, which is very straightforward. This way, you could pass all relevant data to Make with just a few clicks worth of setup!

I'd be happy to explain how to set up the formula. Just drop me a message or reply to this thread!
