Is there any way of blocking a card from moving to the next stack until a field is filled?

Welcome to the Airtable community!

No, you cannot prevent someone from moving a card to the next stack if information is missing.

You can use a formula field to display a warning flag for the record if the card has incomplete information for the stage it is in.
