OWN MISTAKE: ""Subject" could not be converted to a string" for some e-mails in a repeat group

UPDATE: found out this was due to a formula error, which left the deadline date field in #ERROR for the affected records. SORRY not to have noticed it before posting.

Hi,

Sending out personalised e-mails with repeating group automation. Out of a bunch of 96, some 5 just failed with a quite unhelpful ""Subject" could not be converted to a string" message.

The e-mail subject field uses a variable to fetch a deadline date. For 95% of the e-mails it works like when tested, for 5% it doesn't.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot? How on earth does it work for some, but not for others? It's the same data that is retrieved for all.

Rgds,

Björn

Hi,
look into history, expand list of values, check which are failed
