Hi,

I am a new user of Airtable. I'm creating a new Sales Base for a carpet company.

I have two tables, Sales Orders and Sales Order Lines, which are linked one to many.

I want to create a Form, Enter the Sales order information, and then be able to create new sales order lines related to that sales order. However, it seems on a form, and you can only select records already in the sales order line table.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

That is only possible by using external form software.

The best option is to use Fillout, which is designed to work natively with Airtable.

I give a demonstration of EXACTLY what you’re talking about in this podcast episode.

Alternatively, you can always create new line items in Cognito Forms or JotForm, and then use Make to get the form submissions into Airtable.

p.s. If you have a budget for your project and you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with any of this, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
