I’m working on using the IF Function on airtable, and I could use some help. I’m working on a donor log. I’m trying to narrow things down to the following categories:



  • If donor gave in FY17 but not FY16 = New Donor

  • If donor gave in both FY17 and FY16, but increased giving = Donor Increase

  • If donor gave in both FY17 and FY16, but decreased giving = Donor Decrease

  • If donor gave in FY16 but not in FY16 = Lost Donor


Can someone give me some guidance on this? I’m really struggling.

Hi. You might need to provide some more information about the data you store - the names of relevant fields and data types. Are they dates, or just yes/no?
