Is there a way to create a duplicate record on a submission form so it populates a new form with the information?

Is there a way to create a duplicate record button in a submission form? For instance, if a client is submitting a request and wants to create another request nearly identical, is there a way to set it up so they choose duplicate and it submits the form and creates another duplicate that can be changed with a new date for instance but rest of the previously entered information remaining? I hope that makes sense.
