Multi select field with all options in one cell

I am building a product using softr and airtable. On Softr, I have a list item that has a button which will capture the name of the user who clicked on the button. I want to capture the names of the users who click the button, all in one cell of the airtable against the item record. I have set the column type as multi select.

I am unable to get it one as the cell is overwriting or deleting the existing data in that cell. 

is it possible to show multiple tokens in one cell against the respective record only.

Can you get Softr to append instead of overwrite? 

If that's not possible, can you get Softr to create a record and link it instead?  Then you can use a lookup / rollup to display all the users who clicked it instead

Unfortunately appending is not possible. Could you please expand on linking the record and using look up or roll up?

I was thinking you could get Softr to create a new record with the name of the user and link it to the relevant record
