I want to use airtable to scan student IDs as they enter the building. The problem is that once somebody scans their ID it won't automatically move down to the next cell for the next person to scan their ID. I don't want to have to stand there and press enter each time somebody scans their ID for it to move down to the next row. Is there a way to fix this?
+20Are you creating new records after each scan? Most scanners let you program a keyboard shortcut after the scan. Airtable's keyboard shortcut for creating a new row in grid view is SHIFT ENTER.
