Hi everyone, 

 

I am a Music Supervisor (syncing songs for video games, movies ads…). I am currently using the Microsoft Suite and Google Suite for my business but I am now looking for a tool that can do it all in one platform. Airtable seems to answer many of my user cases and so I am now looking for an Airtable Expert that could set up the templates and automations for me, so I can then populate the templates with my own data. Ideally this person would be UK or Europe based.
I would ideally like to work from Airtable’s free plan but can also consider subscribing to the Team tier. 

 

I would need Airtable for 3 main user cases: 

 

1/ CRM:


I have different databases of contacts: 

 

  • one with labels, sync companies, publishers etc, that I reach out to when I'm looking for new music/artists to sync in a project. There are a lot of filters in this database, because when I get a brief for a new project, I need to be able to choose from the territories, music genres etc
     
  • The other database are potential new clients with movie producers, video game producers etc that I need to contact to find new jobs. 

 

Ideally, would like to integrate the databases with Outlook so I could send emails from Airtable to selected contacts. Or that it opens up Outlook so I don’t have to copy paste.

 

2/ Spreadsheet management / Project management: 

 

I currently use Excel / Google Sheet for my project tracking but I’d like one tool that integrates it all. We can set up a call so I can show my templates and how I’d like them to be in Airtable. 

 

3/ To do list

 

I currently use Microsoft Planner but if Airtable can also be used as a To Do list, then I’d like to move everything to Airtable.

Hmm, it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll be able to use the free plan I’m afraid.  The free plan only has 1000 records per base and each contact, todo item, etc would be one record, so you'd run out pretty quick

It also only has 100 automation runs, which you’d also run out of pretty quick.  For example, if your workflow involves selecting individual contacts and wanting an email to be automatically sent via Outlook using an Airtable automation, you could only send 100 emails a month, and you’d probably have a bunch of other automations you’d want running too

The next step up would be Teams, which gives you 50k records and 2k runs per month, and you’d probably be fine with that, but it really depends on how much data you’ve already got.  If you’ve got like 40k contacts, that might be a bit of an issue

Oh yes, fully agree with Adam above re: free tier not being enough. Also, Airtable provides so much value that it pretty much pays for itself :D

In any case, free tier might be enough for the development phase!
