I’ve been making some real progress on automating and streamlining how I, and my wider technology team, operate thanks largely to Claude and working with the new Airtable MCP.
So far:
I’ve got Claude to export snapshot information from Jira to support sprint reporting (FYI the Airtable Jira sync doesn’t do what I need in this instance) - removing a 30 minute job every 2 weeks for me.
I’ve got Claude to read Miro roadmaps and sync the details into Airtable - much more information than the Miro API allows (Claude reads the spacial positions of each shape in relation to others which is amazing), so our visual roadmaps now sync to Airtable Initiative records. I’ve got Claude to ask questions to our PMs to support the report writing process, which both reads out of Airtable to customise the questions AND writes the answers back.
Outside of work, I’m using Hyperagent to crawl the job websites to find Product Ops roles, which then writes back to an Airtable to provide specific information, updates AND links to signed up professionals, about Product Ops roles that are available.
