Happy spooky season, Airtable Community! I hope everyone is enjoying the refreshing autumn season - or spring, depending on where you are in the world!

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, many of us are experiencing that chill in the air, changing leaves, apple picking, pumpkin patches, and cozying up with a classic halloween read. So many reasons to celebrate!

More importantly, let's celebrate all of you - our awesome Airtable community featuring members from around the globe who help each other solve every day. In this September edition of Airtable Top Contributors, we’ll recognize our members who encourage others and help them solve with Airtable. Lets jump in:

How do we select top contributors?

We define a Top Contributor as someone who is passionate, helpful, friendly, and active in the Airtable Community. These members continue to share their knowledge and build positive relationships by answering questions, starting new threads, and going out of their way to share their Airtable expertise and advice with their extended networks.

As we continue to evaluate each month's Top Contributors we will be reviewing both qualitative and quantitative data, as well as how each member upholds our Communities Code of Conduct and Guidelines as they interact with other members of the Airtable Community.

Thanks! Normally there is a lot of repeat names from month to month, but this month seems to have a bit more changes.

I also like the shift in explaining why you included the posts you did. Saying what makes a post good can be helpful to everyone who writes posts, whereas stating the topics of the posts wasn't as useful because specific topics are usually of interest to a much narrower audience.

On the Top Kudos, many of the kudos could be for posts that were actually written in earlier months. I feel like there is more you could do here. These kudos for older content represent posts that help people in the past and continue to help people, versus just helping the initial poster. Showcasing that people can get answers from existing content helps everyone. People with questions can read existing answers without having to wait for someone to reply. People who write answers will also be more willing to put effort into writing answers if they know the answers will have lasting value (versus disappearing into the ether).

I totally agree with you about the kudos @kuovonne! As I pull these metrics, I can see posts from the past that are newly kudo'ed, so I agree there's an opportunity to celebrate these. I'll try out some options to potentially include next month to highlight some of these lasting resources. Quality is definitely key.

I'm glad you liked the post! Congrats on your spot, and thanks for all you do.

Another type of post you could highlight are ones with good questions. These tend to be questions that are asked politely, well formatted, include screen shots, include previous actions taken, are capable of being answered by the community (versus only by support with access to account specific data), etc.

You could really make this fun to read, kinda like the TSA social media account or the Bananas baseball team.
