Generating to-do list

Is there any good way to generate to-do lists using airtable. I’m open to how to trigger it. But the thing that seems most intuitive to me is changing the status of the project from x to y to z. Each status would have certain to-dos associated with them. And when the status changed, it would import those items as individual rows into the main to-do list table.

Has anyone successfully done this? If so, I’m willing to pay someone to help me set it up.
